Isn't overstyling food a form of misleading advertising?

I was pretty surprised last week when I bought a cheese spread that actually looked like the picture on the packaging, with large chunks of shrimp and bright colored herbs. Sadly, this scenario doesn't happen everyday, the norm being more like this:
